We’re looking for a high-empathy, fast-response DM Setter to be the first point of contact for leads coming through Instagram DMs, email inquiries, and other inbound channels. Your Role As our Inbound DM Setter, you’ll own the first conversation with every person who raises their hand looking for help. You’ll respond within 5–20 minutes, uncover their story, identify what they’re struggling with, and guide them toward the right support—whether that’s a sales call, coaching package, or a course. You’ll blend relationship-building, emotional insight, and strategic thinking to connect with people in pain and point them toward hope. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Respond to inbound DMs and leads within 5–20 minutes (7 days/week coverage across team) • Ask thoughtful, emotionally intelligent questions to diagnose pain points and goals • Qualify prospects for coaching or courses and book them into the correct next step (sales call, course, etc.) • Maintain CRM notes and ensure all leads are tracked with accurate status and context • Represent Adam Lane Smith’s brand with compassion, integrity, and responsiveness • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and maximize close rates ⸻ What Success Looks Like • ≥ $50,000/month in attributable revenue from DM traffic you touch • Average response time under 15 minutes • High show-up rates and conversion from your booked calls • Consistently positive feedback from leads on your communication ⸻ What You Bring • Deep emotional intelligence and empathy—you get what people are going through • Fast, clear written communication and strong grammar • A background in psychology, coaching, or high-ticket sales (a plus) • Familiarity with Instagram DMs, ManyChat, and/or CRM tools like Close (a plus) • You care deeply about helping people heal and thrive—and want to be part of a movement that changes lives
