This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B advertising sales representative to contribute to the growth of both our print and digital publications. Position Overview The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting our advertising services to businesses in the marine industry. You will develop and nurture client relationships, working closely with advertisers to meet their marketing needs. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, business development, and the boating lifestyle. Key Responsibilities Generate and exceed sales goals through strategic client outreach and relationship building. Communicate Power Catamaran Magazine’s value proposition to prospective clients and advertisers. Leverage role-playing and training opportunities to refine your sales approach and close high-value deals. Utilize strong communication and persuasion skills to qualify leads, schedule appointments, and close sales. Make 50+ sales calls per day to maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet daily activity targets. Attend occasional industry events, including sea trials and boat shows, representing the brand and connecting with potential clients. Support the distribution of the magazine to yacht brokerages and marine businesses, fostering direct client interaction. Qualifications Proven experience in B2B sales (advertising sales preferred). Strong business development and client relationship management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Highly organized with the ability to effectively follow up on leads. Self-driven and able to maintain motivation in a commission-based environment. Experience in inside sales, cold calling, and territory sales practices is a plus.
